A trip to Ely

On Tuesday 15^th June our Summer trip took us to Ely.  We arrived there at noon and started our day with a very nice lunch to keep up our strength.  A very interesting guided tour of the cathedral followed. Then a stroll in the Jubilee Park and a cup of tea down at the river finished the day nicely.  Some of our members managed to visit the Cromwell House and the Stained Glass Museum.  One day definitely wasn’t long enough and will give us an excuse to go back to be able to spend a bit more time there.
